Chocolate coconut protein balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups of dates
  • 1 1/4 cups chopped walnuts
  • 5 tbs of cocoa powder
  • 3 tbs maple syrup
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tbs coconut oil

Method:

Step 1. Place dates in a warm bowl and leave for 20 minutes so they soften.

Step 2. Grind the walnuts in a food processor.

Step 3. Add the dates to the food processor and blend together.

Step 4. Scrape the batter into a big mixing ball. Add in all other ingredients and mix well together.

Step 5. Line a baking tray and roll the mixture into balls. Use the coconut oil to grease your hands so the mixtures doesn’t stick to your hands.

Step 6. Place coconut on a plate and coat the balls.

Step 7. Put in freezer and freeze for 30 minutes.
