lululemon
We love this Canadian brand, which started off as a yoga wear retailer before expanding into running, cycling and gym gear. Its mantra? “Sweat often, smile always”. From On The Fly joggers to a puffer jacket that one reviewer described as like being “wrapped in a cloud of warmth”, you can’t go wrong. Browse the lululemon website or pop along to its flagship Covent Garden store to choose your faves.
Sweaty Betty
This well-known British retailer aims to “empower women through fitness”. For the company’s London-based design team, it’s all about making pieces that fit well and look amazing. For A/W 2019, that means leggings in camo, disco foil and even leather look! As well as selling activewear, Sweaty Betty hosts wellness talks at its Carnaby Street store and runs a live fitness festival each year. Apparently, one of the core pillars of the SB brand is ‘green juice and cocktails’… they sound like our kind of people 😉
Nike
We couldn’t have a list about fitness brands without including the mighty Nike. It’s been inspiring athletes all over the world for years – as it says on its website, if you have a body, you’re an athlete! We’re big fans of Nike trainers and running gear. New arrivals this season include the Epic Lux Repel running tights and Aeroshield hoodie and, if you’re looking for something truly bespoke, check out the Nike By You shoes.
Shock Absorber
Who wouldn’t want to pull a sports bra out of their stocking on Christmas Day?! We highly recommend the Shock Absorber bras. They’re quick drying, moisture wicking, durable, breathable and super comfortable. Last year, the company unveiled the Ultimate Run Bra Padded – perfect for both beginners and experienced marathon runners. Shock Absorber products are available through various UK retailers, including asos, Figleaves, John Lewis and Next.
Deakin and Blue
And, finally, a British brand that’s very close to our heart. If you’re a keen swimmer or you’re simply getting organised for next summer’s beach trips, Deakin and Blue have some amazing bikinis and swimsuits. Founded by KBPT client Rosie, D&B aims to reinvent swimwear – the collection includes fabrics made from regenerated ocean waste and a ground-breaking sizing system (swimwear is available in sizes 8-20 and AA-HH cups). And the best news? Use code KBPT20 for 20%
Merry Christmas from everyone at KBPT! Here’s to a happy and healthy 2020!
