What is Pre Natal Training?
Our KBPT trainers are experts in pregnancy fitness and can guide you safely as you exercise through your first, second and third trimester. We train you in person, advise you on what to do at home and give you nutritional support.
Why is exercising while pregnant a good idea?
Training while pregnant keeps you active and strong and means you’ll be able to maintain a level of fitness but it’s really important that you do it safely. There are loads of positives from working with a KBPT personal trainer including:
- Reduce back pain and other niggles and discomfort
- Strengthen your pelvic floor muscles
- Recover quicker after you’ve given birth
- Boost your serotonin levels and lift your mood… happy mum, happy baby
- Sleep better – exercising can help to reduce restlessness and disturbed sleep
- Keep your core strong
- Increase the blood flow to your skin (you’ll get even more comments about your healthy glow!)
