Chilli bean.

Ingredients:

  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 1 can of chopped tomatoes
  • 2 cans of mixed beans
  • 1 tsp of rosemary
  • 2 tsp of thyme
  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup
  • 1 deseeded red chilli

Method:

Step 1. Over med heat add onion and garlic and cook for 10 minutes.

Step 2. Then add tomatoes, rosemary, thyme and cook for another 5 minutes.

Step 3. Pour in mixed beans, maple syrup, and chilli and bring to a boil then lower to a simmer and cook for 35 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Serve with cornbread or any bread you desire.
