Make healthy, low-carb courgetti noodles with a spiraliser and enjoy low-carb Italian-style meals!
Ingredients
Courgettes, small or medium-sized, are best. Don’t peel them; the skin gives colour, shape, and extra nutrition
Method
Step 1: Cut off the stem of the courgettes.
Step 2: Follow the directions for your particular brand of spiraliser. There are usually different settings depending on the size you prefer. Place the courgette securely on the spiraliser and turn the handle to make the noodles.
Step 3: Rest the courgette noodles on paper towels after you cut them. This helps to remove extra moisture to keep them firm after they’re cooked.
Step 4: Simply stir into and toss with hot sauce, plunge briefly into boiling water (for literally one minute or less) or sauté for a couple of minutes in oil. Be careful not to overcook them.
