Five soups to keep you warm this winter.

Butternut squash soup.
Butternut squash is the perfect winter soup to get you through those cold nigh. Butternut is low in calories but high in many nutrients, including vitamin A, vitamin C, magnesium, and potassium. This soup is super easy to make and great to freeze.

Kale spinach broccoli
This green soup is so nourishing for your soul. This is a fantastic recipe as kale and spinach are highly nutritious and associated with several benefits. While kale offers more than twice the amount of vitamin C as spinach, spinach provides more folate and vitamins A and K.

Carrot and ginger
Ginger and carrot soup is packed with nutrients and super quick to make. Ginger is high in gingerol, a substance with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Carrots are very tasty and is a particularly good source of beta carotene, fibre, vitamin K1, potassium, and antioxidants.

Pea and coconut
Peas are a great source of bone building vitamin K and manganese. They help boost our levels of folate which is a micronutrient that is crucial for heart health and foetal development. Its important to include a variety of greens in out diet and this soup gives our immune system a good boost.

Spiced cauliflower and coconut soup
Cauliflower is a scrumptous vegetable that is naturally high in fibre and B-vitamins. It gives us antioxidants and phytonutrients that can help protect us against cancer. It also contains fibre which along with many other health benefits helps our digestive system. A very yummy dish.
