Kate P, 44, Hackney

Training with KBPT for 6 years has helped her stay fit, despite a hectic schedule as a barrister.

Hi Kate, how did you find KBPT, and when did you start training?

I actually stumbled upon KBPT on Google back in May 2018. Hard to believe it’s been six years! I started with in-person sessions with Kate when I lived in Hackney. Now that I’ve moved to South London, I’ve switched to online training. I’ve also worked with a few other KBPT trainers when Kate’s been away, they’ve all been great.

What were you hoping to achieve when you first signed up?

At the time, I was dealing with a knee injury from running, so my main goal was to rehab that and get my overall fitness back on track.

What kind of challenges do you face with your training, and how has KBPT helped?

With a demanding job and family life, it’s tough to stick to a routine. Work can get pretty stressful, and finding time to exercise isn’t always easy. But KBPT has really helped me establish good habits and create a routine that fits into my life. They make sure I use the time I have as efficiently as possible.

Six years is a long time! What’s kept you coming back?

Honestly, it’s the trainers. They really get me and understand what I need, which keeps me motivated. Every KBPT trainer I’ve worked with has tailored the sessions to my needs. It’s that personal touch that makes all the difference.

How does online training compare to the in-person sessions you used to do?

It’s been surprisingly easy to transition to online. The trainers are super attentive. They’re great at checking my form and making adjustments. Plus, it’s just so convenient—I can fit a workout into my day without having to leave the house.

What are some of your biggest achievements since starting with KBPT?

I’ve definitely seen a big improvement in my fitness and overall health. KBPT has helped me stay consistent, even with all the changes in my life. They’ve been great at helping me adapt my routine so I can keep exercising, no matter what.

What’s the next goal you’re working towards?

I’m aiming to get back to my pre-baby fitness level and work up to running 10k again. I’m already up to 5k, so I’m making progress!

Amazing! Good luck with it all Kate and we’re looking forward to catching up with you in the future
